2nd consecutive world tournament participation decision!

As we have shared through previous posts on our social media, we won Chairman’s Award at FRC Hawaii Regional last week and got qualified for the world championship (FIRST Championship) in Detroit! We are so glad that we get to compete at the worlds again!

~Award ‘ s Description ~

The Chairman’s Award is the most prestigious award at FIRST, it honors the team that best represents a model for other teams to emulate and best embodies the mission of FIRST. It was created to keep the central focus of FIRST Robotics Competition on the ultimate goal of transforming the culture in ways that will inspire greater levels of respect and honor for science and technology, as well as encouraging more of today’s youth to become science and technology leaders.

~The citation~

This team has lived their missions to bring FIRST to all within their country. They have been so successful inside their borders that they have gone on international recognition and support. Loaded by a Nobel Laureate and praised by the Father of FIRST Robotics. This two-year team has blossomed into a full bouquet of inspirational pioneers and leaders.

We need to fundraise at least $35900 more in order to compete at the worlds. Therefore, we will be holding an additional crowdfunding campaign and recruiting new corporate sponsors for our team. If you would like to learn more details, please contact frc@sakura-tempesta.org . Thank you.
